You Don't Need to Read Music to Support Your Child

After every lesson, you'll know what happened, what to practise, and how your child is progressing — explained in plain language by their teacher.

Free for parents. Always. No trials, no upsells.

The Questions You Can't Answer

You want to help. You just don't have the information.

The lesson ends. Your child comes home. "How was piano?" gets you a shrug, or a mumbled "fine." You have no idea what they worked on, what they're supposed to practise, or whether they're actually making progress.

You want to be supportive, but you don't know what to say. "Have you practised?" turns into a nightly argument. You're not sure if they're on track for their exam. You don't want to seem overbearing by texting the teacher, but you also don't want to be the parent who has no idea what's going on.

The problem isn't that you don't care. It's that the information doesn't reach you. Lesson details stay between the teacher and the student. Practice instructions get lost. Progress happens invisibly.

Clefora changes that.

Now You Do

Six things you couldn't see before. Now they're all in one place.

Know What Happened

After every lesson, you receive a digest from the teacher. What was covered, what went well, and what needs work — in language you can understand. No more shrugs at the dinner table.

Know How to Help

Practice goals are written in plain language. "Play the first 8 bars of Minuet in G slowly, 5 times" is something you can support, even if you don't play. Tick them off together.

Know They're Progressing

Milestones, curriculum progress, and achievements you can celebrate together. You'll see your child growing as a musician, week by week and term by term — not just at exam time.

Know What You Owe

Clear invoices with line items you can review. Pay in the app or by bank transfer. No more mental arithmetic about how many lessons happened this term.

Know About the Exam

ABRSM, Trinity, Rockschool — see which exam your child is preparing for, track syllabus progress, get deadline reminders, and celebrate results together.

Ask Anything, Anytime

Secure messaging with your child's teacher, right alongside the lessons and goals it relates to. No more hunting through WhatsApp threads for that one message about the recital.

Free. Always.

No trials. No upsells. No "premium parent" tier. Your child's teacher pays for Clefora as part of running their studio. You get full access to everything — lesson summaries, practice goals, progress tracking, messaging, exam updates, and invoices — at no cost.

If you have multiple children taking lessons, even with different teachers, one free account covers them all.

Questions Parents Ask

My child's teacher just sent me an invite. What is this?
Clefora is the platform your child's teacher uses to share lesson notes, practice goals, and progress updates with you. They've invited you so you can see what happens in lessons and know how to support practice at home. It's free for parents — no catch, no trials, no upsells. Just tap the link, sign in with Google or Apple, and you're connected.
Do I need to know anything about music to use this?
Not at all. Practice goals are written in plain language by the teacher — things like "Play the first line of Minuet in G five times slowly" rather than musical jargon. You don't need to read music or play an instrument. You just need to be there, encourage practice, and tick off goals when they're done.
How do I know if my child is actually practising?
After each lesson, the teacher sets specific practice goals. You can see them in the app and tick them off when your child completes them. The teacher sees what was done before the next lesson. It doesn't replace trust — but it gives everyone a shared picture of what's happening between lessons.
Will I get overwhelmed with notifications?
You control what you receive. At minimum, you'll get a lesson digest after each class and any messages from the teacher. You can turn on practice reminders if they help, or turn them off if they don't. The goal is to keep you informed, not to add noise to your day.
Is this really free? What's the catch?
It's genuinely free for parents. Your child's teacher pays for Clefora as part of running their studio. You get full access to lesson summaries, practice goals, progress tracking, messaging, and exam updates at no cost. No trial period, no premium parent tier, no hidden fees.
What if I have more than one child taking lessons?
Each child appears separately in your account. You can switch between them to see their individual lessons, goals, and progress. If they have different teachers, you'll be connected to each teacher through that child's profile. One account covers everything.
